Sometimes,
I jokingly say that ‘three out of forty paintings will be good’, a bit like rolling a dice and hoping for a six. Many of the paintings are piled up, either to mature or to be forgotten. I don’t want to say that I work with chance, because all six sides of the dice are still me. And all the rolls still count.
